First attendances confirmed for the 9th Word Assembly of the FAL Network
The attendance of the President of Senegal, Abdoulaye Wade, to the 9th World Assembly of the FAL Network, which will take place on the 8th of February, has already been confirmed. The Assembly will be held at the Hotel Le Méridien Président, in Dakar, Senegal.
Seventy Senegalese local authorities and a high number of African mayors will gather at this meeting. Regarding Europe, the attendance of heads of municipal governments of Spain, France, Portugal, Italy and Switzerland, as well as members of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP) and Cités Unies France (CUF) is also expected.
As far as Latin America is concerned, the attendance of the head of government of the City of Mexico, Marcelo Ebrard, and of mayors from Haiti, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Ecuador, Colombia, Brazil and Uruguay is confirmed.
