Papers for the New Municipality / nº6

The Executive Secretary of the FAL Network publishes the 6th issue of the collection New Municipality “Solidarity-based, Sustainable and Democratic Metropolis”.

This issue gathers the content of the 2nd Forum of Local Authorities of the Peripheries, held in Getafe in June 2010 and has been the result of the agreements between FAMSI, Nanterre and Getafe in collaboration with the University Carlos III and UNESCO Getafe, among other organisations.
With this new issue, we already have 6 titles in this collection aiming at providing, via thematic publications, new concepts for the development of politics of social inclusion and participatory democracy in the local sphere.

First attendances confirmed for the 9th Word Assembly of the FAL Network

The attendance of the President of Senegal, Abdoulaye Wade, to the 9^th World Assembly of the FAL Network, which will take place on the 8^th of February, has already been confirmed. The Assembly will be held at the Hotel Le Méridien Président, in Dakar, Senegal.
